Gamers on the PlayStation Network (PSN) logged in yesterday to find out that the entire PSN network had suffered a network-wide outage, with multiplayer games, the PlayStation Store experience, and all online connected services were offline for about an hour. As of this hour, the PlayStation Network has returned to full operational capabilities and our favorite gamers like Koyote are back online competing in full contact Fortnite tournaments and games.
Offline globally, PlayStation network issues were reported in Germany, the USA, Japan, Korea, and more. The problem seems well under control now, however, we recommend that you log into your PlayStation network accounts to ensure your gaming experience is no longer affected.
We contacted Sony for information on what caused the outage, as of this posting Sony has yet to reply to our request for comment.
